Tree Recycling Instructions

Please follow these instructions to have your tree recycled by Troop 246:

1. Register for pickup either by filling out the form (preferred), sending an email, or calling us.

2. Preferably, pay for your pickup electronically via Venmo or PayPal, which is much safer than using cash or check. For more information, click here.

3. Remove all decorations from the tree before placing it outside to ensure that they don't damage the recycling equipment.

4. Place the tree in front of your house NO LATER THAN 8:00 AM on the day of the pickup.

   1. We may be picking up trees all day, depending on the number of scheduled pickups. However, if your tree hasn't been picked up by ~4 PM, please give us a call at (719) 645-4421.

   2. If you're paying by check made out to Troop 246, or by cash, place it in an envelope and attach it to a tree in an inconspicuous location.
