Scouts and Adults

The troop PLC has decided to accept the Trolley Museum invitation to work on the Railroading Merit Badge starting in Oct. If things work out the troop will be invited to go to Chama New Mexico to view and help with the restoration work they are doing and take a ride on the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad.

On Oct 1st  10:AM to 3:00PM  the Trolley Museum is having an open house and need 12 scouts and two adults to help direct the visitors. Lunch will be provided to those that help. All are invited to come and see the displays and Museum, free admission.

On Sept 24th there will be a training session and a tour for those that will be helping on Oct 1st. there will be a sign up sheet at the next two meetings. The Trolley museum is located on Stone Street, south of I-25 and Fillmore.

Remember how much fun you had with your toy train. Now you have an opportunity to learn a lot more about railroading and be up close to real train cars and engines.

If you have any questions or need any more information please contact me.

St. Gabriel Annual Parish Picnic

posted Aug 5, 2011 9:15 AM by Dan Morris   [ updated Aug 5, 2011 9:22 AM ]

St Gabriel will hold their Annual Parish Picnic on Sunday, 14 Aug at the Church.  There is a  sign-up sheet at the link below.

I urge all Scouts to sign up.  We also need adults assist with the picnic.  This is one of the main ways we support our charter organization (the Knights of Columbus) and St Gabriel Church (who provides our meeting location).   They greatly appreciate our help.

Below shows who has signed up so far.  Please click HERE or on "Open Document" below to sign up or edit.
